This morning we did the Circle Line, a 2 hour boat trip around Manhattan that has some great views of Lady Liberty, the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn, Queens and New Jersey.

I’ve started to get anxious about London and haven’t slept very well the past few nights. I’ve been doing research whenever I get the chance but can’t help feeling underprepared.

While Paul visited the Frick Collection (a private art gallery he raved about), I came back to the hostel in an attempt to calm my nerves by solidifying our crucial first days in London.

It took me four hours, but we now have an interview for a flat a few hours after we arrive, and I’m meeting with a recruitment agent an hour later. All the other smaller stuff is under control now too, so hopefully I’ll sleep better tonight.
